Postdoc Gabriele Sansalone leaves the lab to become a PI

Gabriele Sansalone, who has worked in the lab since January 2022 as a Postdoc (“Assegnista di Ricerca” in the Italian system), has just left the lab to a permanent position. Gabriele, while in the lab, has put to good use his expertise morphometrics, phylogenetic comparative methods and finite elements analysis (you can read more about his background and interests in the Lab Members page).

Gabriele has taken up a position as Associate Professor of Comparative Anatomy at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy).

We wish him best of luck for this new endeavour, and to establish himself as a successful young PI!
