Abstract submission open for our SMBE symposium on “Regulatory evolution and the emergence of diversity”

19 Jan 2023

The abstract submission is now open – deadline March 15th – for contributions to our SMBE symposium on “Regulatory evolution and the emergence of diversity”. This is symposium number 27 (see list of symposia on the conference website). Our symposium focuses on topics such as gene regulation, short RNAs, and gene co-expression. Our invited speakers are Patricia Wittkopp (University of Michigan, USA) and Wilfried Haerty (Earlham Institute, UK).

Carmelo is organising it – together with long-term collaborators and friends Paolo Franchini (University of Tuscia) and Francesca Raffini (Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn).

The meeting will be held this year in Ferrara, a nice town in Italy, from July 23rd to July 27th. You can read more about the meeting on its official website, where you can also find the complete list of symposia which have been selected.
