Carmelo has commented for an Italian media outlet on a paper on crab evolution.

The original paper by Wolfe and colleagues is an interesting evolutionary-oriented review in the journal BioEssays about the fact that crab morphology has been re-evolving repeatedly over time.

A journalist (Alex Saragosa) has then written an article (in Italian, only for online subscribers or purchasing a physical copy) on this topic for “Il Venerdì”, which is a section of La Repubblica, a major Italian newspaper. Carmelo has been interviewed by the journalist, whom in the final article has quoted Carmelo and included one picture of his.
